Authorities are looking for suspects in a midtown homicide

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Authorities are investigating a shooting incident that happened just after midnight on Saturday.
The Tucson Police Department and University of Arizona Police Department received several 911 calls reporting shots fired near North Park Avenue and East Seventh Street.
Officers arrived to find a Hispanic adult male lying on the ground in a parking lot near the intersection. The man appeared to be suffering from gunshot trauma.
Authorities transported him to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The victim in this incident has been identified as 35-year old Green Valley resident, Francisco
Antonio Gastello, according to authorities.
Several witnesses told detectives that they saw a beige, 1979 Chevrolet Coupe leaving the area, according to authorities. Police believe it was the victim's vehicle.
Witnesses also reported seeing a white pick-up truck leaving the scene, authorities stated.
Authorities described one suspect as a Hispanic male about 5'8" tall, with a thin build and wearing a white shirt and baggy jeans. The second male suspect is described as a Hispanic male as well, wearing a cowboy hat, a blue and white collared shirt, and jeans.
The Gang Investigation Unit responded to assist with the investigation because of initial indications of gang involvement.
Anyone with information regarding the suspects, their motive, or any information regarding the incident is urged to call 911 or 88-crime.
