One person dead after collision on I-10 near Benson

BENSON, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - One person is dead and three other are injured after a collision on Interstate 10 near Benson.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety tells KGUN9 that at about 3:16 a.m., officers responded to a two vehicle collision on I-10, milepost 302.
The initial investigation revealed that a passenger vehicle side swiped a tractor-trailer on the drivers side. The passenger vehicle rolled into the median, ejecting one occupant who died on the scene.
Several occupants, who are are believed to be alleged illegal aliens, fled the scene and were located a short time later.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
