PALOMINAS, Ariz. (AP) - Bee experts have destroyed a massive hive found in the southern Arizona community of Palominas.

Experts have contained an estimated 200,000 bees.

The Sierra Vista Herald reports that bee experts were called on Tuesday after they received several complaints from neighbors in the community located about 20 miles east of Sierra Vista.

Reed Booth, Bisbee-based killer bee expert, told The Sierra Vista Herald that the bees of this particular hive were the most aggressive he has seen in some time.

The hive was found in an abandoned house and described as several times the typical size.
