Republicans turn on eachother over glock fundraiser

TUCSON (KGUN9) – The Pima County Republican Party says tickets are sold out for its controversial gun raffle.
The party says the raffle is a fundraiser and the winner will get a glock 23, a gun similar to the one Jared Loughner is accused of using in the January 8th shootings.
Bill Badger, a victim of the shootings, says the fundraiser has sparked flashback of the gun allegedly used by Loughner lying on the bloody ground.
“I would like to see them [the Republican Party] apologize to the victims,” he said.
Steve Kozachick, a republican and member of the Tucson City Council isn’t standing by his political party.
“I think it was quite frankly, incredibly stupid and shows a total disconnect to the sensitivities of this community,” he said.
The Pima County Republican Party has not announced the date of the raffle.
