BP Agents discover body

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Border Patrol Agents from the Tucson station say they apprehended two female illegal immigrants Saturday who reported a travel companion had passed away during the evening. 

BP Agents say when they arrived at the location, they discovered a deceased woman. The incident was turned over to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office. 

Since launching the Southwest Border Initiative in March 2009, the Department of Homeland Security has made significant investments toward establishing a secure and safe border environment to improve the quality of life in Arizona’s communities.
