Man ejected, killed in accident

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Deputies from the Tucson Mountain District responded to a crash with injuries just before 6p.m. Friday.
Deputies arrived at Scrub Brush Road and Trico Road, near the Picture Rocks area to find a one vehicle rollover in which the unrestrained driver, 36- year-old Neil Workman, had been ejected.
Workman was transported to the Trauma Center at the University Medical Center with life threatening injuries. Workman succumbed to his injuries at the hospital later in the evening.
A female passenger who was restrained inside the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
Authorities say speed appears to be a factor in the collision.
