Taskforce for elder abuse contact information now available
Web Editor Marissa Pasquet
Senior abuse is one of our worst nightmares. It's comparable to baby sitters who abuse infants, mad-men who kill kittens for fun, and evokes our innermost sense of outrage.
It is said, "A society is judged by how it treats the least of it's members" and in the case of senior abuse, we, as a society, will not tolerate this behavior.
A task force was created in March by Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne for this purpose. It is called Taskforce Against Elder Abuse, or TASA. Anyone with a concern or complaint can contact this new agency at The Taskforce Against Senior Abuse: 1-602- 542-2124 or via email at SeniorAbuse@azag.gov.
