Humane Society happy hour

There is a pretty cool deal at the Humane Society on Friday and Saturday. They are offering free ice cream and the possibility of a new pet. The Humane Society at 3450 N. Kelvin Blvd., will be open until 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
The event is all part of the shelter's late night happy hour special. Other deals include $10 adoption fees for many dogs and cats. They have more than 300 animals, according to Humane Society officials.
