Police investigating suspicious death, victim identified

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Police are investigating the suspicious death of 17-year-old Ignacia Aranda.
Sgt. Matt Ronstadt, a spokesperson with Tucson Police tells KGUN9 that officers responded to the 2400 block of North Haskell Road in regards to a suspicious death inside an apartment.
Officers determined that Aranda had recently moved into the apartment with her 19-year-old boyfriend.
The circumstances were deemed suspicious by officers and the TPD Homicide Unit was called to the scene to continue the investigation.
At this time, the investigation into the death of Aranda is ongoing.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
