Lawsuit aimed at Navajo nation tribal money

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Navajo Nation officials are concerned over a civil lawsuit's impact on their ability to secure credit.
Standard & Poor issued it's first credit rating, an "A", to the nation earlier this year.
The lawsuit was filed by a special prosecutor against several of the tribal members. The suit alleges that members defrauded the Navajo Nation.
LoRenzo Bates with the nation says the lawsuit is frivolous and it could hurt the tribe's ability to issue bonds for projects.
