I-10 collision claims two lives and injures four others

WILLCOX, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Two people are dead and four are injured after a collision between a commercial truck and a passenger vehicle.
According to media release, on Tuesday at about 1:21 am, a two vehicle collision involving fatalities occurred on Interstate 10, near Willcox.
A 1999 Freightliner commercial truck pulling a trailer was eastbound on Interstate 10. Victoriano Romero, 51, the driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on its side, blocking both eastbound lanes of traffic. A 2001 Ford pickup truck ran into the rear end of the trailer.
The driver, Isaac J. High, 65, and a passenger in the pickup truck, Mercedes Young, 2, died at the scene from injuries. Porche Hunt, 29, Neveah Young, 8, Edward Young, 4, and Samantha Young, 7, were the four other passengers in the pickup who were transported to hospitals in the Willcox and Tucson area for treatment of injuries.
The investigation is on going at this time.
