A local businessman admitted to spying on women with cameras he set up in his office and will serve 12 months in jail.
Jason Hooks accepted a plea deal and admitted to two counts of voyeurism. He will serve 12 months in Pima County Jail and 10 years of probation upon release. He will not have to register as a sex offender.
Originally charged with 24 counts of voyeurism, Hooks was accused of setting up cameras at CorTech International, 5151 E. Broadway.
Pima County Sheriff's deputies found several hidden cameras in a women's bathroom and under a manager's desk. Investigators searched Hooks's home and seized computer-related items.
Hooks was convicted in 2007 of possession of child pornography.
