Fallen power lines were a big problem leaving more than 20,000 customers without power.

Crews have been busy restoring neighborhood by neighborhood to help residents get their electricity back.

Tucson Electric Power and tree removal companies were out on the northside, near Campbell and River, as well as midtown where trees were littering the streets.

Over 100 customers were still without power around 5:00 p.m. KGUN9 spoke with residents who had no power since 7:00 p.m. last night.

"No air conditioning, no nothing," said Manuel Garcia. "The stuff in our refrigerator is probably gone. In the freezer, yeah know - I still have my house."

"I've got a sick lady at the house - my sister in law," explained Larry Bahill. "She needs the air conditioning. I am probably going to have to take her out to a motel or something like that."

Bahill said crews began working at 10:00 a.m. to a power line by Prince Road and Campbell Avenue.
