The traffic signal is out at St. Mary's and the freeway according to Sgt. Peter Dugan with the Tucson Police Department.
A single vehicle lost control and hit a traffic control box, knocking the light out.
The driver has minor injuries.
The light at the intersection will be out for the next few hours. Drivers are asked to treat it like a four-way stop.
