Three cats died in a house fire Sunday morning.
According to Captain Barrett Baker with the Tucson Fire Department, the house fire occurred in the 5600 block of East Baker Street. The flames were located in the kitchen area of the home.
The fire was put out in 9 minutes.
While searching the home, the three cats were located, but they had passed away. The homeowner also has two dogs who were able to be saved.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
