Police are looking for a hit-and-run suspect who was driving an SUV that struck and killed a woman and a 2-year-old child near downtown Phoenix.
A preliminary investigation indicates the victims were not in a crosswalk when they were hit by a northbound SUV at about 8 p.m. Friday near 16th Street and Broadway Road.
They were identified Sunday as 52-year-old Wanda Trujillo and 2-year-old Enoch Trujillo.
Police say the suspect fled the scene in the older model SUV.
