A man convicted of a deadly 2015 DUI wreck had decades added to his sentence Monday.

Authorities say Scott Woodington was under the influence when he hit motorcyclist Amy Hill near Sahuarita Road and Alvernon Way on May 2, 2015. Hill later died from injuries suffered in the wreck.

Previously sentenced to serve 11 years on aggravated DUI charges, Woodington will now serve a total of 48 years for several charges related to the incident, including second degree murder of motorcyclist Amy Hill and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument.
