This month, Good Morning Tucson anchors are checking out some of the hottest lunch spots around town.

Today, Samantha, Big Al and April check out the Sausage Shop, 1015 W. Prince Road.

For more information about the restaurant, check out its Facebook page

Here's a transcript of the segment:

April: Hey everybody. Welcome to Good Morning Tucson's Out to Lunch edition.

Samantha: We are at the Sausage Shop on Prince and it is the largest sausage shop in Tucson.

Big Al: Let's go on in and talk to Kent, the owner, and try a sandwich.

April: How many sandwiches do you have on your board right now?

Kent: Fifty-three. In 1982 we came down and opened a little swap meet stand selling frozen sausage over on Limberlost and Oracle and if you remember there was a swap meet there, and then in 1984 we opened here and expanded into sandwiches and all the things we do now.

April: And ever since...

Kent: It has been pretty good.

April: What is the most popular sandwich?

Worker: Our most popular sandwich is the Tubby.

April: Why is that one so popular?

Worker: Because it is our biggest.

April: OK, we will get that one for Big Al. What do you think?

Big Al: I like this one.

April: The Ruffus?

Samantha: Even the meatball one sounds good. American cheese on bread

April: Alright, I'm going to do the Buff. I'm going to try it. So we are all good? We all know what we are eating? Alright, let's do it.

Big Al: With my sanwhich, the Rufus, they throw in chips and a Spreckers grape pop. When is the last time you heard of pop instead of soda? Right out of the Midwest.

Samantha: Cheers. Oh we are touching bread.

April: It is so good.

Samantha: So good.

Big Al: Love the coleslaw in the sandwich.

April: OK, so what did everybody think?

Samantha: Amazing.

Big Al: Delicious. Love the soda, love the homemade Slim Jim.

April: Pretty successful, I would say.

Samantha: I have had a lot of homemade Italian meatballs between my family and this is right up there.

April: Hands down one of the best?

Samantha: You can tell it has been made with love.

April: Alright, this is going to be tough to beat.

Big Al: I can hardly wait to see where we go next week.

Samantha: Well, we will see you next Friday.
