The Tohono O'odham Gaming Enterprise awarded checks to three different organizations that serve the Tohono O'odham Nation.
The ceremony at Desert Diamond Casino Tucson included the presentation of $135,000 as part of the funds raised during the 15th Desert Diamond Casinos Golf Classic.
The organizations that received the funds are; The Tohono O'odham Department of Health and Human Services Dialysis Advocate Program, the Tohono O'odham Nation Cultural Center and Museum and Hasan Educational Services.
This year's Golf Classic was held at the Omni Tucson National Golf Course in March and had more than 280 individuals participate.
