Deputies need help identifying robbery suspect, person of interest

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department is asking for help from the public in identifying a man in connection with a robbery. 
 
Deputy Cody Gress, spokesperson for the department says that on October 11, deputies responded to the Circle K located at 3280 West Valencia Road for a report of a theft around 3 a.m.
 
When deputies arrived on the scene, they learned a man entered the store and went behind the counter to steal cigarettes and alcohol.
 
Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect, said Gress.
 
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, approximately 19 to 20-years-old, 5’10 to 6’0” in height, and slim build. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, gray and blue striped hooded sweatshirt with a tattoo on the left side of his neck – “1997”.
 
Detectives are also asking for help in identifying a female person of interest who was seen exiting the store just after the male suspect.
 
The woman is described a Hispanic, approximately 19 to 20-years-old, 5’4” to 5’6” in height, medium build, and dark hair. She was last seen wearing a jean jacket and black pants.
 
Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
