A 42-year-old woman who went missing Tuesday morning was found dead, deputies say.
Shannon Montgomery had been missing from her home in the 5600 block of North Sabino Canyon Road since 7:40 a.m. Tuesday.
She has short-term memory loss and requires 24-hour care. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket and white Nike shoes. Shannon is stands 5 feet, 2 inches, weighs 200 pounds and has long brown hair. Deputies believes she was heading southbound from her home at 8 a.m.
Pima County Sheriff's deputies confirmed Montgomery's death to KGUN9 and said her next of kin have been notified.
