QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (AP) - Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies are searching for suspects after finding two dead coyotes, one of which was hanging from a bridge, in Queen Creek.
Deputies say they received a call around midnight Saturday involving an incident of animal cruelty in the vicinity of Ellsworth Loop and Rittenhouse roads.
Upon arrival, deputies located a dead coyote suspended with some sort of rope from an overpass bridge above Ellsworth.
They searched the area and discovered the remains of a second coyote in the southbound lanes of Ellsworth.
Authorities have not identified any suspects and are asking anyone with information to contact the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
