Coding boot camp helps students take on tech

Even if you're not a full-time student at the University of Arizona, there are still classes you can take.

If you're looking for a career change or just wanting to up your skills without going back to school, there's a new crash course you can join.

The class is a two night a week course taught to students who want to learn how to code.

At the end of the 24 week class, students will be ready for a new job in almost any field that uses web development.

It's not just about the cirriculum. students will get real face to face meeting time with potential local employers.

Right now, the class is only open to students in the UA continuing education program.

The first course is starting this fall, and it is designed for all kinds of students.

Eventually, cook wants to open a class up for graduate students and undergrads too.

The class starts in October, and t teaches programs like: Javascript, html, query, and a series of other programs.
