Tucson voters will have a chance to vote on Proposition 204 on the upcoming November ballot.

Business and community leaders gathered on Thursday to announce their opposition to the proposition.

Prop 204 is a half-a-cent permanent tax increase that, at 9.1 percent, would make Tucson among the most heavily taxed cities in the country.

The "No On Prop 204" launch was held at the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

In attendance were: Armando Rios, Chairman of NO on Prop 204; Shelley Watson, Southern Arizona Leadership Council; Manuel Davila, Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; Robert Medler, Tucson Metro Chamber of Commerce.
