The Arizona Daily Sun reportsthe Flagstaff City Council voted to move forward with the sale of land near the Flagstaff Pulliam Airport. GreenTree Hospitality plans to build a hotel, conference center, restaurant and corporate headquarters on the land.

City officials think the proposed hotel may bring a second airline to the airport.

Community Investment Director David McIntire says the 32-acre property is worth over $5 million.

The company will have to create at least 90 jobs on the site as part of a sale condition. McIntire says the city will continuously check up on GreenTree to make sure they are following the agreement.

The council will vote on the second reading of the ordinance June 6.
