2,000 poll workers needed for upcoming elections in Pima County; will get paid $130 or more

The Pima County Elections Department is currently looking for roughly 2,000 poll workers for the August 30th Primary Election and the November 8th General Election. 
 
Those workers will get a compensation fee of $130 or more, depending on their tasks. 
 
According to the Pima County website, workers would "assist voters at the polls, and help maintain the integrity of the election process."
 
Approximately 240 polling sites will be open for each of the elections and at least nine poll workers will be assigned to each of those sites. 
 
If you are a registered voter in Pima County, you are elgibile to become a poll worker. 
 
Once you are selected, you must attend a mandatory training session prior to working.
