British singer Amy Winehouse is dead

LONDON (AP/KGUN9-TV) — A press release from the Metropolitan Police, which doesn't specifically name Winehouse is reporting singer Amy Winehouse has been found dead at her home in London.
Police say a 27-year-old female was pronounced dead at the home in northern London but the cause of death was not immediately clear. Winehouse has struggled with drug and alcohol abuse.
