Robbery suspect sought by police

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) – Tucson police are seeking the public’s assistance in finding a male suspected of several armed robberies in the Tucson area.
Authorities say the suspect has struck nine times between June 22 - July 11, 2011. He targets small businesses that are within large strip malls, usually in the mid-afternoon, according to authorities.
Police say the suspect enters the business and presents a threatening demand note indicating he is armed. He then puts the money in a small bag that he brings with him and leaves.
Witnesses report the suspect displays a calm demeanor during the robbery. Authorities say weapons have been implied, but not seen.
Police are looking for a Hispanic male, between 20-30 years old, approximately 5'6" to 5'9," tall, wearing blue jeans, t-shirts, aviator-style sunglasses and a black fedora-type hat with a white stripe.
