After being kept in his kennel for 6 months due to shelter-wide, mandatory, quarantine, Dumbledore was adopted from Pima Animal Care. Approximately 3 months later volunteers were contacted and told that due to a family emergency he was being returned to PACC. Volunteers who had worked with Dumbledore couldn’t stand the thought of this amazing dog going back to live in a small kennel, after he waited so long for a home. These friends of Dumbledore decided to ban together to keep him from returning to the shelter. Through sponsorships and donations they have kept him in boarding so that he wouldn’t be returned to PACC. Volunteers have been working with Dumbledore on a daily basis taking him to the park, the doggy gym, out to lunch and even started him in swim lessons! These volunteers need the community’s help finding a real home for Dumbledore where he can sleep peacefully on his own bed and enjoy the company of a loving family. His owner wants to relinquish him and the volunteers are running out of time to find him a home for this 3 year old boy who has spent much of his life in a shelter kennel.
