Greater Purpose Project - Wheel Walk Run and Tucson Firefighter Chili Cook Off

Grab your capes and join firefighters, first responders and fun-runners for the upcoming Patrick Taylor Memorial 5K or one mile FUN-RUN of the season! This Superhero themed Wheel.Walk.Run is kicking off the Tucson Firefighter Chili-Cook Off happening at Reid Park on October 22, 2016. Grab your squad, get your work out on and then refuel with chili and beer at the finish line!

This event celebrates the life of hometown hero Patrick Taylor: firefighter, father, husband who transformed his Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis into a Greater Purpose of helping others. He lost his battle with MS in January of 2015 but that’s not where his story ends only where his legacy begins. Patrick inspired the non-profit (The Greater Purpose Project) and world-wide movement.

The run benefits The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, and The Greater Purpose Project (School Heroes Tour).

The Chili-Cook-Off benefits The Tucson Firefighters Adopt-A-Family Program.
