Bens Bells: Cindy Kramer

CINDY KRAMER IS THIS WEEK'S BEN'S BELLEE WHO WAS NOMINATED BY CYNTHIA SENN BECAUSE SHE IS A RETIRED AMPHITHEATER TEACHER WHO VOLUNTEERS TO TEACH READING 3 MORNINGS A WEEK, ONE ON ONE, TO MANY STUDENTS WHO ARE BELOW GRADE LEVEL AND WHO MAY HAVE HUGE GAPS IN THEIR EDUCATION. CINDY'S DAUGHTER, WHO IS ALSO A TEACHER, WAS THE ONE WHO TOLD HER OF THE NEED FOR HER EXPERTISE AT WILSON K THROUGH 8 AND SHE WAS A PERFECT MATCH FOR THOSE STUDENTS WHO HAD FALLEN BETWEEN THE EDUCATIONAL CRACKS. NOT ONLY DOES CINDY SUPPORT THESE STUDENTS IN THE AREA OF READING, SHE ALSO NURTURES AND COMPASSIONATELY EMULATES KINDNESS TO EACH CHILD WHETHER IT IS BY SURPRISING A STUDENT WITH CUPCAKES FOR A BIRTHDAY OR GIFTING EACH STUDENT WITH THEIR CHOICE OF BOOKS AT WILSON'S BOOK FAIR.
