Saturday, March 9th, Tucson's biker community will come together for the “2nd Annual Welcome Home Poker Run” presented by AMVETS Riders Post 770. The ride benefits the Esperanza En Escalante home for homeless veterans and their families. Esperanza En Escalante means "Hope on Escalante" but the Executive Director likes to call it "Hope Rising." Esperanza En Escalante provides temporary living quarters and vocational training for veterans returning from combat to assist with their transition to civilian life. Registration for the run begins at 9:00 AM at AMVETS Post 770, 3015 S. Kinney Rd.
