Raw video: ethnic studies protestors derail board meeting
Video by: photojournalists Craig Mills and Alfonso Sahagun
Notes: On Tuesday night boisterous, chanting protestors took over the Tucson Unified School District boardroom to demonstrate in favor of the district's embattled Ethnic Studies program. Some protestors chained themselves to board members' chairs, effectively preventing the board from meeting. A scheduled vote on whether to turn the program into an elective course did not take place.
