A Bite to Eat: Then and Now
The Arizona Historical Society invites you to join us for an informal talk and demonstration of US Army field rations from frontier days in Arizona Territory to frontier today in Afghanistan and Iraq. The program is in conjunction with the new exhibition "A Bite to Eat: Feeding the Troops." SFC Joey M. Bupp Jr., US Army and SSG Steven J. Mariani, US Army will share their food experiences with MREs (Meals Ready to Eat). June 14 is Flag Day as well as the 239th Birthday of the US Army. Enjoy a piece of birthday cake after the program!
