Jessi Colter at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum's Desert Night Life
The Oasis Project presents live performances by singer-songwriter Jessi Colter during the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum’s Desert Night Life. Colter is best known for her work with husband Waylon Jennings and her 1975 self-penned hit, “I’m Not Lisa,” Colter remains one of modern music's singular talents, a singer, songwriter and entertainer whose influence continues to echo across musical genres. Colter’s performance on March 8 coincides with a special event at the Desert Museum, Desert Night Life. The museum will be open until 10:00 pm and will include a performance by Colter at 6:30 pm as well as special on-site activities for families starting at 5:00 pm. These include Planetary Science Institute telescope stations, story-telling with the ASDM Press, astronomy-related art activities, and Creatures of the Night nocturnal animal presentations. Purchasing tickets for the Jessi Colter performance will include entrance to the Desert Museum after 5:00 pm and a designated seat at the concert.
