yoga Nidra workshop
Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation technique. Nidra means "sleep", however the practitioner does not sleep during the process of Yoga Nidra. Their body rests, as in sleep, the mind rests, and awareness remains alert. This workshop will take the student through the four main stages of Yoga Nidra, plus the fifth stage, Sankalpa, translated as "resolve", or "resolution". Through continuous practice of Yoga Nidra, a sustained feeling of clarity, emotional well-being, a relaxed state of awareness and control over one's own evolution is gained. This workshop will offer information on how Yoga Nidra works, some gentle physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama) and a Yoga Nidra session. No prior experience necessary. This workshop is suitable for everybody.
