Written for children, in 1936, by Sergeu Prokofiev, this is the familiar story loved by audiences of all ages. Peter is a young boy who ventures out into the meadows, against his grandfather's orders, to catch the Wolf. He is accompanied by his friends the Duck, the Bird and his grandfather's Cat, each represented by a particular theme and dance. With the help of his animal friends, Peter catches the Wolf with his rope lasso.
