Ballet Rincon's Performance Ensemble presents Peter & the Wolf
Written for children, in 1936, by Sergeu Prokofiev, this is the familiar story loved by audiences of all ages. Peter is a young boy who ventures out into the meadows, against his grandfather's orders, to catch the Wolf. He is accompanied by his friends the Duck, the Bird and his grandfather's Cat, each represented by a particular theme and dance. With the help of his animal friends, Peter catches the Wolf with his rope lasso. Join Ballet Rincon's Performance Ensemble for two performances of this timeless ballet in the Civano Community Center Rotunda 10501 E. Seven Generations Way on Saturday April 13th at 1 & 3:30pm.
