On Thursday, March 28, the University of Arizona (UA) will host its tenth annual Innovation Day at the UA to honor faculty and students as outstanding innovators. The event celebrates the UA’s success in technology development and innovation by highlighting the research achievements of students, staff, and faculty. The daylong event includes the following sessions: o UA at the Leading Edge – showcases cutting edge research in short video clips o The Technology Innovation Awards luncheon honors a faculty member and student for their achievements in translating original ideas from the laboratory to the marketplace. o Innovation Showcase will take place immediately after the luncheon. Student companies from McGuire Entrepreneurship program and start-up companies from the Arizona Center for Innovation will pitch their companies in a trade show environment.
