Tucson Chinese Cultural Center Year of the Snake Celebration The Tucson Chinese Cultural Center is excited to celebrate Lunar New Year 2013, the most important holiday of the year for Chinese families. 2013 is the Year of the Snake, and is year 4711 on the Chinese calendar, the longest chronological record in human history. The Lunar New Year occurs on February 7th, and the Tucson Chinese Cultural Center has coordinated three events to mark the holiday: On Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 11:00AM to 3:00PM, the Taste of China Festival will feature Chinese arts and crafts, games for kids, and food for sale in a family-friendly environment with live performances to celebrate the Year of the Snake. Admission is $2.00, with free admission for children under 12 and free parking for attendees.
