Juilliard String Quartet in Concert!
The Arizona Friends of Chamber Music open their 60th season with the renown Juilliard String Quartet. The quartet will present two concerts, a matinee on October 23 at 3 PM, and an evening performance October 24 at 7:30 PM. Founded in 1946 by composer William Schuman and original first violinist Robert Mann (replaced by Joseph Lin in 2011), the Juilliard String Quartet continues to play new works as if they were established masterpieces, and established masterpieces as if they were new. It is the paradigmatic American string quartet ensemble. For tickets, call 520 577-3769, or visit our website, www.ArizonaChamberMusic.org
