LAVA Music presents Ted Ramirez in the beautiful Abounding Grace Sanctuary. Teodoro "Ted" Ramirez is a premier southwest folk musician, singer, songwriter, and storyteller. Ted's family history in the Southwest dates back to the mid-1600's, and his heritage includes both indigenous and European roots. In the mid 1980's, Ted founded the celebrated "Santa Cruz River Band", a Southwestern folk music band. He also created and hosted the "Sounds of Arizona", a folk music radio program which aired for 10 years on 580 AM. Ted is Tucson's "Official Troubadour", and he is the Artist in Residence at the Tubac Historic Presidio Park, as well as the recipient of the prestigious "Arizona Culture Keeper Award", the "Governor's Heritage Award", and many other culture preservation awards. Ted Ramirez will perform at Abounding Grace Sanctuary, 2450 S. Kolb, just north of Golf Links on the west side of Kolb, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Advance tickets are $15 online, all fees included. Tickets will be $20 cash at the door. Doors open at 6:30.
