The Jewish Friendship Group (JFG) and The Institute for Judaic Services and Studies (IJSS) invite you to hear Sidney Finkel speak in SaddleBrooke on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 7 pm in the Desert View Performing Arts Center, 38759 S. MountainView Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85739 at a free event. Sidney Finkel is a Jewish Holocaust survivor who winters in Tucson. Starting with his childhood in Poland, to his being moved to a ghetto, then to a work camp (Czestochowa) and finally to his years in Germany’s largest concentration camps (Buchenwald), Mr. Finkel details the consequences of hatred, especially anti-Semitism. He has written a book about his experiences.
