Street Survival School for teen drivers
Arizona Border Region of the SCCA is hosting a Tire Rack Street Survival School on October 15. Register today at: https://www.motorsportreg.com/index.cfm/event/register.trss/uidEvent/66122F6E-A8CE-BF85-E66B52206072C89A Registration dead line is October 14 at Noon. The primary emphasis of the Tire Rack Street Survival is a "hands-on" driving experience for teenage drivers in real-world situations! We use there own car to teach them about its handling limits and how they can stay in control. The students will become more observant of the traffic situation they find themselves in. They will learn to look far enough ahead to anticipate unwise actions of other drivers. As the students master the application of physics to drive their cars, they will make fewer unwise driving actions themselves. They will understand why they should always wear their own seatbelts, and why they should insist that their passengers wear seatbelts, too! The school costs $75 per student and will run from 8am to 4pm on October 15th.
