The pregnancy world is full of do's and don'ts and conflicting information.

One article says it is safe to dye or color your hair another tells the darks side of even stepping into a salon and smelling the chemicals.  It is so hard to get a straight answer and even more difficult to remember all the pregnancy questions at the doctor's office.

I'd assume this is just the beginning of parenthood.

As a first time mom, I can't begin to imagine all the questions I'm going to have throughout the day.  How often does a baby need to eat? How many diapers will I need in a week? How the heck does this stroller work?

My brother and his wife have three young children and have been helpful in providing a few tips ahead of time.

I've also inherited a few of their baby items, which for the time being are sitting in a spare room, and it still doesn't seem real that in just a few short months I'll be using them.
