Rikki comes to KGUN9 On Your Side straight from the U of A (BEAR DOWN!) where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. But she's no stranger to news in Tucson.
Did you know?
In her free time, Rikki loves to take dance classes and read historical fiction books, mostly about the many royal families of England.
While in school, Rikki worked at the Arizona Daily Star as one of the NASA Space Grant interns, and reported for NPR News at Arizona Public Media. She also covered administration and science at the Arizona Daily Wildcat.
Rikki grew up in Las Vegas, and knew at a young age that she wanted to work in media. While in high school, Rikki worked at the Las Vegas Review Journal, CLASS! Magazine, and spent a summer at NASA Dryden Flight Research Center in California writing for the Dryden X-PRESS.
She is very excited to be working on the assignment desk, and reporting as a multimedia journalist at KGUN9.
