
Marcos Angel SilvasOn June 5, 2009, at approximately 9:20 p.m., deputies from the San Xavier District responded to the 2600 blk. of W. Quail Road in reference to an unknown problem.
Upon arrival, deputies found a male victim who had been shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
A father and his adult son were in their front yard when three male subjects approached them.
The suspects ordered the victims to the ground at which time the father was shot. On July 14, 2009, the victim identified as the father, Luis Alfonso Flores (DOB 10/23/57), succumbed to his injuries.
The death was classified as a homicide. The Pima County Sheriff's Homicide Unit detectives have continued to investigate the incident.
Pima County Sheriff's Homicide detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for the arrest of Marcos Angel Silvas (DOB 12/28/87).
Mr. Silvas is being sought on charges of 1st degree murder and two counts of Attempt to Commit Armed Robbery.
Mr. Silvas is described as a Hispanic male, 5'9" tall, weighing approximately 165 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes.
He is believed to be in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico or Tucson, Arizona.
