TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Frost, the gelato shop that has been a Tucson favorite for the last five years, is expanding.
The Arizona Daily Star reports that the owners of Frost, A Gelato Shoppe, now hope their product will be a national success. Frost's owners have begun accepting applications for new nationwide franchises. They hope to have some of them open in the next nine to 12 months.
A co-owner of the Tucson-based business, Jeff Kaiserman, says California, Nevada, Texas and other places in Arizona are potential locations.
Frost has three Tucson locations: at 7131 N. Oracle Road, at La Encantada shopping center, 2905 E. Skyline Drive and 7301 E. Tanque Verde Blvd.
