
Bisbee, AZ (December 3, 2009)—The Cochise County Health Department is announcing the continuation of its H1N1 vaccination clinics.
"With the advent of the holiday season we are also enjoying much improved H1N1 vaccine availability. In December we are expanding the availability of H1N1 vaccinations to all who wish to be vaccinated at various locations around the county," explains Vaira Harik, Director of the Cochise County Health Department.
On December 10th the Health Department will be vaccinating the under 65 age group at Health Department locations in addition to vaccinating all age groups at clinics to be held at selected schools and senior centers around the county. Please refer to the schedule of clinics below. Additional December clinics will be announced at a later date.

All H1N1 vaccinations given by the Health Department are free of charge. Doses will be administered on a first come, first served basis.
This week the Health Department will be allocating vaccine to pharmacies around the county and will continue to allocate vaccine to private providers. The following pharmacies will shortly be receiving H1N1 vaccine and will be vaccinating adults age 18 and older only:

Vaira Harik, Cochise County Health Director, explains that "we are very pleased that vaccine availability is allowing us to open up vaccination to all who want it. We have already offered numerous vaccination opportunities to Tier 1 patients and all school-aged children from 5 through 18 years of age and are now able to offer vaccine to all age groups."
