A University of Arizona Police Officer was injured at a collision on 36th St & Kino Parkway Friday afternoon.

Tucson Police confirm that the accident occured when another car pulled in front of the officer just before 5p.m.

The officer is being transported to an area hospital with road-rash and minor injuries, it is unclear if anyone will be cited in the accident.
