TUCSON, AZ - The Pima County Sheriff’s Department’s Rincon District Directed Patrol Unit is credited with a drug bust and seizure of money from a stash house on the eastside of Tucson.
Neighbors in the area reported suspicious activity at an address in the 5200 blk. of Rocky Ridge Place approximately one month ago.
The Rincon District Directed Patrol began surveying the residence and on November 19, 2009, at approximately 9:30 p.m., they made a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving the residence.
Over 1,000 lbs. of marijuana was seized from the vehicle and two subjects were arrested.
The Counter Narcotics Alliance (CNA) was requested for further investigation. $535,444.00 in cash was found inside the residence after a search warrant was obtained.
Both driver and passenger of the vehicle were arrested for Transportation of Marijuana for Sale.
The two are identified as Robert Andrew McShane (DOB 09/02/70) from New Jersey and Juan Pedro Grijalva (DOB 02/26/73) from the Tucson area.
